Cool Cloud Computing Company Presents Hot New SaaS Server  “How to Fail Miserably as a Cloud Software Provider”

Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009, 6:00-9:00 PM

Happy Hour Networking, Drink Specials, Appetizers
Recession? What recession? Companies in the SaaS Cloud are doing well: Salesforce.com will be the first SaaS company to surpass $ 1 billion in annual revenue. American Express acquired 13% of Concur, the expense management software maker, for $ 251 million in cash to seal a mutually exclusive marketing partnership deal. And Taleo, a name both jobhunters and MNC human resource people trust, saw revenues jump 33% to nearly $ 192 million by July 2009.
Whether you’re building the next Salesforce.com or moving all of your internal web based applications to a single distributed environment for delivery and management, you’ll need a complete solution – the technology has to be comprehensive, absolutely, but the business end is critical to your success too.
This month’s event is VERY exciting. We are going to hear directly from the creators of the revolutionary SaaSGrid SaaS Application server, who also happen to be the authors atSaaSBlogs, one of the most popular communities for Cloud and SaaS thought leadership! Apprenda’s CEO Sinclair Schuller will be giving a presentation entitled: “How to Fail Miserably as a Cloud Software Provider”. He’ll be discussing the key business and technical ingredients that make SaaS companies successful and why architecture reigns in the cloud.
You don’t want to miss this event. Networking time is expanded to before and after the presentation. Plus, you’ll have an opportunity to see SaaSGrid in action at the demo station setup for those that are interested.
In the meantime, you can find out more about Apprenda here:
